To make a lip balm, you will need to mix together a carrier oil for the bulk of the product, a butter for moisturising benefits and a wax to harden the base. We have a range of carrier oils, butters and waxes for you to choose from. An example of a basic lip balm recipe would be 100 gram of Sweet Almond or Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 30g Beeswax and 15g Shea or Cocoa butter, melt in a double boiler, add a few drops of flavour oil and pour into our lip balm tins. Easy! We also offer a readymade Lip Balm Base, made from Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil and Cera Alba. Simply melt, add your flavour oil and pour.
