Red Mica Powder - 25g

Our Red Mica Powder is part of our rainbow of mica pigments. Mica Powders are stunning colours that are commonly known for their use in mineral makeup and eye shadows, etc. Recently, mica powders have gained incredible popularity as an alternative to colouring waxes and when used with liquid and chip dyes, create an eye-catching pearlescent sheen. We recommend that you use around 5% mica powder to wax ratio for a shimmering effect, you can also use our liquid and chip dyes to create a richer colour. 

We suggest using mica powders to add a shimmer to wax melts when melted, but we do not recommend the use of mica powder in candles as they can clog the wick and become a potential fire hazard. Mica can be used to decorate the outside of candles where they should then be used for display purposes only.
