What are the best and most nostalgic Christmas scents?
Ready Ah, Christmas scents - they're so evocative of the festive season. From the moment you catch a whiff of peppermint in the air or the warmth of Christmas spices, your senses are alive with anticipation as everything feels just that little bit more magical and special.
Here are some of our favourite nostalgic Christmas scents:
1. Peppermint: The unmistakable smell of peppermint is synonymous with Christmas and it's one we always look forward to experiencing again every year. Whether it be from adding this aroma to your diffuser or through lighting a candy cane scented candle, this minty own has been spreading joy for generations!
2. Christmas Spice: Nothing quite compares to the aroma of freshly baked goods on cold winter days! With notes like cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger permeating through your home when you bake all sorts of delightful treats like gingerbread biscuits or spiced cakes and Christmas pudding, these warm spices will fill your heart more than any other scent can do during this time of year.

3. Cosy & Warm: Don't forget about bringing an extra dose of cosiness into your decor by lighting log fires or candles around your home too! Adding layers upon layers off warmth and comfort while providing that comforting winter walk atmosphere right inside - there's nothing I'd rather take pleasure in during chilly nights then spend it curled up next to a crackling fire surrounded by powdery sweet aromas and lovely conversations with family members or friends alike.
4. Festive Sweets & Treats: Last but not least comes those tempting sugary delights reminiscent from our childhoods which bring back loads nostalgia for me every single year – Christmas cocktails, marzipans cupcakes, warm winter cookies... there is something delightfully indulgent about these seasonal goodies we enjoy munching on around Christmas time!

How To Make Your Own Christmas Wax Melts...
- Firstly, prepare your area by gathering all the necessary equipment needed.
- Wearing gloves, add your wax to your melter, melt accordingly until your wax reaches 80°C.
- Whilst your wax is melting, prepare your moulds. Ensuring they are on a flat level service.
- Once your Wax has melted to 80°C, carefully pour 100g into your jug. Let cool to 70°C then add in 10g of your Fragrance Oil and stir well.
- Next, experiment with colours and layers depending on the mould you are using. We chose our gingerbread man mould, and used our gold mica to create little golden gingerbread men.
- You can split your wax into multiple jugs to work with more colours. Once you are ready pour into your moulds and leave overnight to set.
- Finally, once set, carefully remove your melts from their mould and then you can enjoy your Christmas Wax Melts!
